Post subject:  Wossner - new 944 stock pistons
I am happy to announce that Wossner GmbH is now making as stock items pistons for 944 Turbo's at 8:1 CR and 944 NA at 10.2:1 CR. These will be made at stock weight and to stock dimensions so they will be legal in most racing classes that I am aware of. They will be available in 100.0, 100.5 and 101.0mm bore size and can be run in Alusil, iron or Nikasil bores. The kits come complete with rings, skirt coating, wrist pin and clips at a cost of $640 per kit.

Of course custom pistons are still available for any other need that you have.

This is for an entire kit of 4 pistons with rings, pins, skirt coating and clips for the entire engine.

Also,.. I just re-did the spec so the pistons will be 10.6:1 CR,.. there will be plenty of material at the top of the piston so if someone did want a lower CR , like 10.2:1 they could easily have a machine shop put the needed dish in.
