I have a local mechanic, here in the Washington DC area, who has been working on 944 street and Cup race cars for sometime now. Mike can save you a bunch off your service bills or save u a bunch of time so u can get your car back in action quicker. His name is Mike Routt and he lives in Indian Head, Md, about 30 miles south of the city. He is available for doing some of the basic types of work you made need on your 944. His is very reliable, knows the 944's back and forth, and is available on the weekends. Leave your car or wait while he does the work. Here are some of his labor prices: Trans swap $150 Engine swap $700 Timing belts and all rollers $75 Water pump (inc. timing belts and rollers) $200 Clutch $400 Any problems like stripped or broke bolts or anything out of ordinary may be more.
