Anybody ever seen or installed a transaxle cooler on a n/a transaxle?

I have installed one on a 924S running a 94 968 engine. I just drilled and tapped the main housing to install a pair of -8an to pipe fittings and used a small Wheldon pump. It has 12V power any time a switch on the console is on and the ground is through a temp switch that contact mounts to the gearbox to provide ground anytime the temp goes over 160F. The supply is in the bottom and I directed the return line so it sprays cooled oil on the ring and pinion. Greg F

I found a Tilton differential oil pump, mocal oil cooler and was going to use the existing drain plug and fill plug as ports. Transaxle installed alrready.

Will verify if the ambient air would provide enough cooling if not, I will add a NACA duct to quarter lexan window and/or 12V fan to blow air thru the oil cooler.

What max temps do you think are OK for the transaxle oil?

The switch I used was from a GM diff oil cooler kit they used to sell for the Z06 Corvettes used in T1. ( it was actually a T1 oil cooling kit) Not sure what the pn# is, but I will try to look it up. All that is needed on the N/A cars is to get the oil out of the box for a second. Temps should run between 200F and 260F. Greg
