Will be very difficult for the Cup to get in. The Indy schedule makes it tight to be able to squeeze out time for us. But its still alive. If it happens, likely to be a Thursday and Friday.
Other SCCA Pro dates under consideration for 2011 include Mosport, NJMP and VIR.

Well Dave if anyone in our NOW realm of recognition and racing can make it happen, U B Da Man!!
Thursday/Friday races sound good to me, can still hang out there after were done, we will already be there, and have the ultimate passes to move around...for another full day or two.
Plus I think there will be a LOT of people off work or leaving early on Thursday/Friday for this super spectacular Baltimore attraction, this will not be a national stage but a world stage. To be on the venue alone will be historic.
My 2 cents of motivational input, also I am raising my hand to assist as needed.
Big Joe

Thanks Big Joe. I have already put down a deposit on a house rental in Fells Point by the Inner Halrbor for that long weekend.

Just fyi, WC has not yet accepted into the event. As I understand ALMS is at the plate for acceptance into the event, with WC on deck. Are only chance of getting in is if WC/SCCA Pro Racing gets in.

I don't see myself driving 10+ hours to race on a Thursday/Friday. I vote to not make this a National Championship event.

We will likely make VIR the National event again next year with SCCA Pro, and the other SCCA Pro events multi-chapter regional events, which for Baltimore would not include Canada.

The Indy event is sti;; yet not an event as the promotoers and the track have not agreed on anything. A long shot it appears.
For Baltimore, I understand ALMS is now In, and WC awaits a call back from the organizers.
