Anybody know the rules and/or regulations for transporting fuel in an enclosed trailer between states in the US and from US to Canada and Canada to US?

The fuel containers must legally be red in the frozen north. The chance of an official seeing you fill up at a gas station are quite unlikely and I wouldn't worry about it. I would however advise you not to carry fuel across the border. We have lots here

USA DOT requires that the fuel be carried in a sealed metal container. Maximum size is 55 gallons w/o a permit. Big rigs are limited to 110 gallons carried this way. Techically we are not allowed to caqrry fuel in our little 5 gal plastic jugs, but I suspect we all do anyway. Greg F

Bill,

I'm sure that Canada has plenty of fuel but, what is the cost per litre of 100 Octane Unleaded fuel at Mosport or local gas station near Mosport?

Tim in Canadian dollars for one litre. Sunoco Ultra 94 is $113.5 at local stations and $1.59 at Mosport. Sunoco race fuels at Mosport are 98 unleaded GTX260 at $3.59 and 104 unleaded GTX plus also at $3.59. Prices are subject to change.

Healthcare good question.....When we enter Canada do we need to purchase any type of healthcare coverage just in case we need medical care during our stay in Canada?
