I have a 91 944S2 and had been using an Accusump. I think that all S2 had very good baffel that considrebly reduced the #2 bearing starvation issues. Since the Accusump is removed while swaping engine and painting the inside, I am thinking about not installing because it is impossible to change the lower hose without removing the sandwich plate on the oil filter.

My question is how many racers in Cup/SC actually use Accusump on their 944 race cars?

five race engines and every one has had accusump. Saved engines on two occasions.
