For those interested in following the Northwest 944 Cup series, we have started a Google Group that allows all users to receive updates about local happenings. Only a few of us are here on the 44cup forums but most everyone uses email so this works great for everyone.

This group allows us to keep all local racers in close communication while allowing each to view chats in their preferred format, whether that be email or web forum format. A nice benefit is that by sending one email you can communicate with everyone in the group. This allows us to have some great bench racing after each round, as well as provides an easy way to coordinate entries and travel schedules.

Our region has been growing quickly with 15 cars in the running and more being built as we speak. Our next round will feature a 944 Cup dedicated run group, and at the end of July we will participating in a special 'German Touring Car Challenge' race in Seattle to be held in addition to our normal points race. It is a great group of people, some fun racing, and some really amazing tracks including the brand new Oregon Raceway Park facility in Grass Valley, Oregon.

It's great you guys have such a tight nit group. The only thing we ask is you consider your fellow racers around the country when you're having discussions that might benefit all who run in the Series. The forums exist as a way for everyone to come together, so please use it when it makes sense to do so.

No question... obviously Greg F posts here a bunch, as do I, and if we have series questions or technical matters that would certainly be done here. Anything major that comes up there I would echo here anyway to make sure that future PNW participants and others can find it on the main site.

Mainly we needed a way to disseminate things like post race video and discussion that is not necessarily forum fodder, as well as discuss who will be attending races etc.
