MantisSport Cayman S will be racing with SCCA World Challenge at Watkins-Glen, in GTS. Plans are to also race Toronto Indy and VIR.

Well, it was a great time with WC. The drivers are all helpful, Peter Cunningham and Bob Woodhouse & Scott Bove were great supporters of our entry at Watkins-Glen. Getting the car through SCCA PRO tech standards was the toughtest part of the weekend. The toyo tires were the next issue we had. The tire supplier for some reason brought 2007 tires for us, although Ron Fellows had the same issue, also the Dodge Vipers, as their front tire is what we use as a rear tire. Luckily , I tested the tires at Mosport, they were 2010 tires, 1.8 seconds faster than the 07 tires. Only problem is they mark the tires before qualifying, need to race no what you qualify on. I decide we race on the test tires worn as they were. Had a good start, split the front 2 Acuras going into turn 1, raced with Nick Esayian for 2 laps , the tires started giving up. I decided as its my first with WC , settle into a groove and finish. Most of the teams and drivers came over to weclome us to the group. We had a autograph session, over hour long, well done by WC. Drivers meeting, you must sign in, also the crew chief, $150 fine if you dont. Neat to see the Indy cars really close up, for several days.Already worked on the car today, getting it ready for Toronto Indy. Written while watching the Indy car race.
