This is what it looks like from below when your rod bolts fail at 6000 RPM. Bottom of the rod is still out their on track somewhere.... Hole in pan extends back beyond steering rack, plus broken crank girdle and another hole in the block up near the alternator mount. niiiice...

Make take a bit of JB Weld.

The parts car I bought had the same aeration modification. Sorry to see this Matt. You had a great run going this weekend.

Matt, JB Weld a little aluminum and pop rivets you'll be as good as new!

I thought aerated oil was better for the engine.

Thanks all for the encouragement - but looks like we're shutting down for a bit. Baby due in 3 weeks so we're going to take some time and do the build right. May make October, but we shall see.
