suspension options for an early 944

I am building an early 944 to cup specs, and am wondering what are my options. Most everything I can find fits the late cars. From what I can tell, the upper shock mount is about 6mm narrower, is that the only difference?
Also, is it worthwhile to swap to the late banana arms(I have them from another car already)?

Koni sports are a good option. If u want more adjustability, Racers Edge offeres Leda for the early car.
