What is the ratio of the so called short 5th gear? Is it: 0.8286 (0.829)? If so, the 5th gear of a stock 951 gearbox will be the gear that could be used in an NA gearbox, right? Tx. c. |

The .829 5th gear can be found in all 924S, 944S, 951 and in 88 up 944 8v cars. Euro cars all had this ratio so Canada is a good place to find them sometimes as well. Greg F |
