Has anyone tried to completely update the ABS in the 951s?

My racecar doesn't have ABS, as it was removed way back in 1988 due to Escort series rules. The car is totally different now and while I survive without it, let's face it, once in a while it would be really nice to avoid a flat-spot, especially at the cost of R6s these days.

I'm not excited about the prospect of reinstalling a stock-like system, based on 25 year old technology and am wondering if anyone has fitted a modern ABS system to one of our vehicles. Maybe a unit out of a Boxster? I'm up for anything basically, assuming sensors can be dealt with, etc. If I'm going to go through the trouble/expense, might as well do it as well as possible.
