Thanks for posting, Steve. It was great to race with you and your car looks great. So tell me, why didn't you put those last few gallons in? Seriously, I find my car handles better with a fuller tank, I've never even run it down that low. |

I calculated what I had used and figured at least 1/4 tank at the end of the race which is usually ok. Watkins Glen has some long high g turns that are either going up or down hill and I guess that just makes things worse. I recorded several spots at 1.5+ g which is more than most tracks I go to. Lesson learned. |
