See Craigslist ad here: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/2779542866.html You may have seen this car on craigslist recently - I bought it, got her running (understatement), and now selling. It is a 5 speed manual with A/C option Good Running '83 with 99k miles. Even though this is a "standard" color for the year it's still rare to find Copenhagen Blue cars. This car could have been sold weeks, ago, but I am looking for the right buyer. If all you see is "I can get a Porsche for cheap!", then you need not respond. 944's are great cars, but any car 20+ years old for under $2,000 is not for the type of person who can't perform some maintenance himself - the car will nickel and dime you to death if you have to pay someone to repair it all the time. I would like this car to go to a Porsche/Audi/BMW owner, or someone who has/had a 944 before. With that being said, some details on this car: Manual Sunroof - lighter weight, less parts to break Manual Steering Rack - no p/s leaks and no p/s needed on these early cars anyway Forged Connecting Rods Timing & Balance belts just done Oil & Filter just done Coolant just changed Brake Fluid just changed to Ate Super Blue Redline trans fluid Fuel Filter just done Fuel Injectors Professionally cleaned on ANSU Machine Tune-Up - New Spark plugs (Bosch WR8DS Silver Electrode), Spark Plug Wires (OEM Beru), Cap & Rotor Brand new battery New Battery terminals with Stainless Steel Hardware Newer (improved) battery ground cables Battery box fiberglassed side skirts and turbo rear valence. 3 Spoke steering wheel is one of the best I've seen, very good condition. Paint is shiny but a bunch of little dents/chips. Has a Colgan Bra that comes with the car that has helped keep the front from being blasted with rocks. Has front & rear sway bars. Infinity Reference speakers and Audiovox CD Player. Center console hinge is not broken. Brakes are 75% or better on all corners. Car is sold with cookie cutter wheels with a good set of tires. Located in Philadelphia, priced for quick sale $1,600 ***Please note, the longer I have this car, the more work I am doing to it, thus the price will continue to increase. |
