The Rick Bye Rothmans-Porsche Turbo Cup Car
This is one of 36 944 Turbo Cup cars imported into Canada for the Rothmans-Porsche Turbo Cup series held in 1988-1990. This was one of the few cars/drivers to finish on the podium on several occasions.The #8 car had outstanding graphics and was featured in many TV and media publications. It has been fully restored to “better-than-new”. Of the 192 944 Turbo Cup cars built by the race facility at Weissach, very few remaining are of this quality. US legal.
