This is a very well built 951 race car. I could part this car for something like 28-30 000$, at least.
I would like to trade it for a very nice 944 Cup, à la Hardent/Wolff/Comat.
The car:
1986 Porsche 944 Turbo PCA Log book, Varac class winner at Tremblant
Body:
105 000 miles on the body. Was repainted (base coat + clear) in 2007; Full roll cage + window nets (side + center); New Racetech seat and Sparco belts on Recaro sliders; DP motorsport front splitter; Solid engine mount; Solid trans mount; New bearings everywhere; Quick release Momo wheel; Inboard manual boost controller; Manual steering rack; 3 piece cross member; SS front tow hook; AMB transponder; Short shift kit; G2X Racepak Data acquisition; Weights 2600Lbs without driver;
Suspension:
New Penske shocks (rear), Anze/Penske Struts (front), 2 way adjustable (remote canisters); Custom A-arms; Camber plates; Strut tower brace; Front and rear weltmeister adjustable sway bars;
Engine: brand new engine built for 2010, approximately 10 hours on it
Steel sleeved, new aftermarket pistons, shotpeened rods, Fiorano head, piston squirters, lightened knife-edge crank and so on; Custom oil cooler; Turbonetics Turbo (2 seasons on it) + heat shield; Vitesse MAF; SFR 4 into 1 headers (321SS) ceramic coated + 2 piece cross-over pipe + downpipe; SFR Hard pipes; SFR intercooler; Tial 38mm wastegate; Tial BOV; New SS fuel lines; Adjustable fuel pressure regulator; 4 inches exhaust system; 3 years old rad, new temp sensor;
Brakes:
New big black calipers and rotors; New master cylinder (89) + BPV; Nearly new PF pads; New rotor at the back;
Wheels:
1 set of Fikse 9 x 17 and 10 x 17 with Hoosiers R6; 1 set of Jongbloed 9 x 17 and 10 x 17 with Hoosiers R6 1 set of CUP1 (oem) 9 x 17 with Hoosiers rain
Regular maintenance: Mostly anything that had to break was replaced. Think of it and I did it. The only thing that was never touched is the fuel system, although the fuel filter was changed.
What has to be done:
Torsion tube housing bushings needs to be changed; Small dent in the left front fender; Install custom trans oil cooler set-up (do have all the parts). Reinstall the cut-off switch properly (it currently works, though).
