Hummm... The wheels are 15x7 early offset and I'm planning to widen them fronts 8" with 225/50/15 and rear to 9" running 275/35/15. You are saying that the early offset can work for my late car even if they get widen?

Ah, sorry, that will certainly not work. They work at 7" only... they fill out the fenders to the very limit at 7".

Ok, Thank you for your reply.

Dave, can you send me the contact information for the company that widens wheels for $125?

Send me your address and I'll send you a DVD of our qualifying race battle.

John, I use James at,
Weldcraft Wheels
15091 Northville Rd.
Plymouth MI 48170
1-734-420-2211
http://www.weldcraftwheels.com

They charge $175 per wheel and do a very nice welding job. The wheel offset does change. I too am interested in the same job for $125.

Dave has recommended WeldCraft in the past, quoting the lower price to me as well, but experience has shown the higher price to be correct.

Weldcraft is the correct company. Call for estimate. Price can vary depending on how much the wheel is widened and where shipment goes.

Are they willing to weld the factory cast aluminum wheels such as the ATS snowflake wheels? I know of several companies that will machine or weld the Fuchs forged alloys to make custom sizes and offfsets, but none of them will weld on a pressure cast wheel for use on a racing car. Greg F.
