oil temps?

hey guys just wondering if anyone else has an oil temp gauge in their car and what is a normal temp. i have an oil pan mechanical probe type gauge in my car but honestly i have no idea if my temps are good or bad.

for refrence my water temp last weekend was 180-190F and my oil was 200-210F while racing however whenever ive gotten into a heated battle lap after lap the numbers go waaaay higher fighting to be fast but get clean air.

Mine run about the same, though they don't go much higher than 215. Though in the middle of a heated battle I'm not inclined to look. :)

When the weathers hot and half way thru a race mine will reach 225 using a large remote oil cooler and 5W- 50 oil.

Around 200 degress in the summer, little cooler in colder weather, with and external oil cooler and turbo radiator.

thanks guys i appreciate it, also i ran a test and with my hood vents opened i was able to run 5-10 degrees cooler session to session so i think they were a good investment.
