hey guys i got a problem with my street 944. I usually never go over the 5k miles per year to get exempt from emissions but this year i had to use my car as a daily driver and went way over and failed. i noticed that the o2 sensor wire is disconected and missing. heres my ? i bought a new o2 sensor universal type to put in and it has a crimp conector. can i cut my factory wiring harness conector at the firewall and put on a spade conector and run a normal wire down to the sensor and crimp it on or do i need to find a factory o2 sensor wire in the junkyard and use that. i also have a pretty shabby looking wire on my cup car id like to do this too also. i also plan on putting in new plugs and trying xylene in the gas just not sure how much to use, any other tips would be helpful. also the car is an 84 if that helps. thanks guys
