Charley arm replacement pin question

I am in the process of installing a set of charley arms on my 1988 944 SP2 car. I currently have a 951 brake set-up on the car, with 951 hubs and spindles and the original lower a-arms.

My technician informed me that the pins on the charley arms are of a larger diameter than what my car will allow and that I will either need to sources pins for the correct diameter or have the existing pins machined to fit the spindle.

My question is what is the correct diameter pin for a 951 spindle and is there a source for extended length pins (my car is lower by nearly 2" in the front) that will fit a 951 spindle? I will machine the pins if I need to but I would first rather look for a replacement pin.

would not alter the spindle size/ Get new pins to fit . Think stock measurement is 17 mm.

Or sell the charley arms and buy the HS strung 44 arms that fit the stock spindle and allow the car to be lowered safely
