I've got Buick Balls on my exhaust, which date's back to when Eric Rupert owned the car I took it from. It works fine, no leaks and will tolerate a lot of mis-alignemnt if you tweak the ex-haust by going off track, an important consideration in my case.

I do not have the "Buick Balls" in my car but, a few extra balls in the car could be useful at times.

I buy them from a company called " Stans Headers" in Auburn, Washington. He will produce them in mild steel but I recommend having them made in 409 Stainless, as they will last a long time in this material. Greg F

Greg,
Have you installed a exhaust system that only uses 2.5" tubing back to exhaust muffler?
Or do you typically increase the diameter to 3" somewhere before the exhaust muffler?

I have experimented with running 2.5" to just behind the drivers seat and then using a transition up to 3" for the two bends and muffler with excellent results. For the most part we use this system to go with either a Bursch or similar header that is designed for a 2.5" collector. Power is very close to the all 3" system with a slight bump in the torque from 2500 t0 4500 rpm. Greg
