Are there more than 3 of us that want to save it?

Probably.

I can only race once in a while though and that may not be enough to save it. Oh well.

If it ran under similar rules to GTS3 I might consider getting envolved in a group of people that would run it.

The possibilty of an all PCA event schedule for 2011 Super Cup does exist, provided PCA agrees to allow SP class split starts again for next year. There were enough SP3 cars this year that could make for decent North and South championships ( vs separate regional championships and standings):

South: Sebring, Road Atlanta, VIR, Roebling Road, Daytona

North: Lime Rock, Glen, Mosport, NJMP, and Summit Pt.

Scrutineering/13-13 enforcement would be done by PCA as part of their normal course of business.

Super Cup class rules would be retooled to provide for one power to weight classification for all models, stock engine and DME chips; free brakes, suspension, wheels , DOT tires, gearing, and allowing limited body parts made of non factory materials.

Consider getting the power to weight somewhere near the GTS3 level. According to Bob Hahnemann the weight reduction when he "converted" to GTS3 transformed the car into a pleasure to drive.

I will let you know in 4 weeks time when I'm at VIR testing the car after it's transformation to GTS3 is complete.
We also still get to race with NASA and see our buddies from 944Cup :).

Would likely stay about where we are now, 13 to 1, which is about mid range for GTS3 class power range (11 -14.5 to 1). But with only one class, dont need to have a range like GTS.

A conference call with PCA schedules is scheduled for next week. This should go a long way in determining if a SC class based in PCA events will work.

Conference call went well with PCA last nite. Super Cup will continue in 2011 with an all pca schedule.
