+1000 on the congratulations.

It would be great to see one or both of the champions make use of the prize to be able to take their racing to the World Challenge Series.

Best of luck to both of you and to the 944 Cup series.

In Super Cup, the story of the weekend were the 968's. They were clearly dominate and had good drivers on board. The long high banks of Daytona favored the vario cams, and the 6 gears didnt hurt either.

New on the scene for SC are a stable of cars out of the MidWest under prep of Eurosport. The cars are well prepared with all good drivers, all of which who travel well. In fact, expect news shortly on a new Cup Chapter in the MidWest.

Karl Poeltl was odds on favorite to win headed into the weekend, but the Eurosport were very game, taking 2nd thru 4th spots on the grid. Karl went into the championship race with a right frt wheel bearing going south, but managed to bring the 968 home for the win. Dennis Hiffman turned times with .2 of a second to Karl, and took the checkered just 3.5 seconds back after 15 laps. SC drivers will no doubt not miss Karl next year as he plans to head to World Challenge in a 2010 Cayman S.

The only SC casualty for the weekend I am aware of was Bill Scarbrough will had a crash in T1 driving the former Don Ruschman turbo.
