Is there a big noise restriction at Lime Rock? After talking to some of my cutomers they dont go there because of that.......long way to go to be sent home for a loud car. One of my customers that was sent home had a stock gt3 with sport exhaust (factory) and it didnt pass

Been told that Limerock Race is UN-Muffled again this year!

Meaning no noise restrictions? If so, that is good news.

It all depends on how rich you are :D

This is a pretty pricey part of Conn, aka the Berkshires. Lots of money around. The lower cost housing pickings are pretty slim. There's a motel in Sharon, about 8 miles away. It used to be Motel 6 quality at Motel 120 pricing. But I hear it's now under new mgmt, so who knows.

I generally stay in Torrington, about 15-20 miles away at the Day's Inn. A nice 20 min drive thru the country in the AM. Nice diner across the street. It's a college town, so malls and other usual American amenities are available. Hotel is ok, clean, about $60/night. I stayed in a bunch other places around the area, and can't recommend any of them. I keep coming back to the Days Inn, not that its great, but everything else is way too expensive or a dump.

Maybe some of the Northern guys have some recommendations.
