Bill Comat has been appointed as National Chief Steward for the 944 Cup Series. Bill was instrumental in forming the Tech Inspection Steering Committee this offseason and establishing the new Regional Scrutineers position. Without Bill none of this would have been accomplished. He has done a extremely thorough and professional job. Based on his effort, knowledge of the Cup rules and commitment to the series, he was a logical choice to head up the tech inspection effort going forward. I fully expect Bill will have a very positive impact on administering a fair and effective tech inspection program for the series.
