The 944 Cup remains a privately owned and independently operated grassroots motorsports series. And while the 944 Cup has recently parted ways with long time partner PCA club racing, the series remains dedicated to 944 racing.

Final plans for securing a exciting new venue for the 944 Cup Nationals for 2021 are in process. Details to be announced here shortly.
Please stay tuned.

Negotiations to resume the 944 Cup season with two clubs continue. I was hoping for PCA to host a 944 Cup finale with Cup Nationals at Daytona at year end. Unfortunately I was unable get a commitment from PCA on the details on what we could expect. Finally had to pull the plug and proceed with other options.

News may be breaking this week on the future of the 944 Cup. Expecting developments regarding 944 Cup Nationals for 2021 and a full season of 944 Cup races for 2022. Thank you for your patience.

In related news, PCA has acknowledged the 944 Cup as an independent and privately race series and has agreed this week to remove all references to the series on the PCA club race web site and related materials.

The 944 Cup is going back home to where it all started back in 2002. NASA MidAtlantic and Regional Director Chris Cobetto has agreed to host our Nationals at VIR/Full Course on October 2-3. All three 944 Cup classes will be participating including, 944Spec, 944 Cup and 944 Super Cup. Registration is open: https://www.nasaproracing.com/events/3600
