If you are planning to attend Cup Nationals, and planning to join SCCA as required to get yur Pro comp license for Nationals, there is a $15 discount if you are referred by a SCCA member. Might there be a SCCA member out there who would like to volunteer to be a referror for the Cup drivers? Its a $15 savings on the membership fee.
You can also save some ( more than one racer in the family) money by doing a Family membership vs an individual membership for just $20 more.

To get your SCCA Pro license for Nationals, drivers will need to be a SCCA member prior to applying for the license as the license app requires a SCCA membership number. So plan ahead accordingly.
