Dave and/or Tim Pruitt,

I just got back in the country and am a little out of date, so I have a few questions:

Where can I get the required SCCA decals and driver's suit patch?

What is the story on fuel inspection ports?

If I have 2010 SCCA logbook, do I still have to go through tech?

My car doesn't have an oil overflow bottle, is it required?

If it is, can anyone tell me an easy place to connect it?

Thanks,

John Torgersen

can get decals at track. patch not required.. fuel port not required. still need to go thru tech so they can examine yur log book, and driver gear. if u have a current log book, dont worry about overflow, though is desirable.

Does anyone know if it is possible to leave my race car and trailer at or near VIR for 3 days after the Nationals? I have a Wilderness Trail PCA DE scheduled for the following Thursday.

I spent two weeks at VIR this summer while my son attended Camp Motorsport and I helped out as a driving instructor with the kids. The NASA race was the weekend in between and my trailer was there all two weeks. I parked it in a corner out of the way and nobody had an issue with it. There was something going on every day at the track so stuff comes and goes constantly.

Great Weekend Dave.

Thanks for all of the food you prepared Big Joe.

Congratulations to all of the winners!

Thanks to all of the 944Cup drivers for the experience, the stories and the new friendships started.

Thanks Tim. The Cup drivers did a hellava job this past weekend runnin with the big boys. An entourage of SCCA Pro officials came up to yesterday afternoon, including President and CEO Bob Wildberger, paying us compliments on the series and the drivers. He was very interested to have us back next year, and hopefully to run more events with them. That's as good as it gets for us I think.

And of course diddo on the job done by The Real Racing Chef, aka 944 Cup Sportsman of the Year, aka Big Joe. That's is some new grill he brung to Nationals.

Thanks to all the competitors who made this event a success. Three days of racing and on only a couple of the slightest of rubs between 944's. No 13/13's. That's drivin'!!!!! And SCCA Pro officials noticed. Thanks Cup racers.

And congrats to Kalr Poeltl for his repeating as Super Cup National Champion and new Cup Champion Chris Green, who continues the dominance of Canadians for the 3rd year running.

Had a great time this past weekend. Enjoyed seeing all the familiar faces and some new ones. Thanks to the competition for making me work my a** off. It was tough to get back into the groove but it was worth it.
