The race format for the final NASA 944 Cup Mid Atlantic race event at VIR Oct 8-10 will be as follows.

This event will consist of a Saturday double race and a Sunday 1 hour "fun race".

All drivers and crew are requested to meet at the tavern Saturday evening after the NASA trophy ceremony. Our 2010 MA Championship presentations will be held at the tavern. Additional details will be given at the 944 Cup driver meeting Saturday morning at "The real racing chef" trailer following the NASA driver meeting.

2010 944 Cup/Hardent Sportsman of year award winner.

As the message form Big Joe implies, he is in charge at VIR this weekend. I'll be missing my first Cup MAC race in 9 yrs......having surgery on Friday with plans of being back next year at full force.

Stinger-bahn?! Hmm... Sounds like lots o' racers already thinking about next year.

I will be late to the event but will arrive in time for the 2nd race Saturday. Hopefully there won't be too many Spec pinatas out there.
