World Challenge has asked the 944 Cup to join them at Mosport for Victoria Weekend in May. At this point WC is about a 75% chance of going back to Mosport for that weeekend. For the 944 Cup, this would be a Pro event for the Canada Chapter and the Cup would have their own race group for track sessions. |

Just today heard from the Calabogie Motorsports Park who are interested in having the 944 Cup race at their venue in 2012 as part of a pro weekend with IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge Canada in June. Depending on the date and price this becomes another possibility for having more races in Canada for the Canada Chapter. http://www.calabogiemotorsports.com/ |

WC wants us there with them and I have agreed in principle, with the money aspects yet to be worked out. So mark your calendar. |

Official announcement is planned by the track for next week. |
