I am registered for the Mar. PCA/944Cup race at Road Atlanta and was wondering if the 2.7L weight reduction has been incorporated into the PCA rules. The version of the PCA rules that I have doesn't show the reduction. I guess the same question applise to the SC reductions.

Dave, here's a link to the PCA rules. I checked the 2009 rules and the rules adopted for 2010. It looks as if they still have the old weights. http://www.pca.org/Activities/ClubRacing/RulesLicensingForms.aspx

Looking at the PCA web site I think that the problem is that the 2010 rules don’t seem to be posted yet, only the rule changes. The rule book that’s on the web site is still the 2009 rules.
They dont include the HP numbers in the PCA rules because they don’t have a dyno at the track and don’t have any real way of enforcing the rear wheel horsepower.
