No limit on width of body.

Rules call for flaring not replacement of fenders.

Dave,

Fenders can already be replaced with fiberglass ones. Its actually easier to buy a set of flared fenders, than to go through the trouble of cutting the existing steel body panels, and adding on a flare. The rules just seem to say fenders can be flared. I just bought a set of flared fenders for my SP3/GTS2 car based on the "fenders can be flared" statement in the rules.

The flairs John has installed in the picture are they allowed in SP2? I have seen similar add on's like that on various cars at the Nationals. Just asking for clarification since i have some body work on both sides I have to do but maybe not as much if I can use a similar product.

oops.... I guess its door, hoods and headlight covers. Fiberglass doors are are a pretty exotic modification. Why not fenders and the front panel, since these are much more common modifications in GTS2 than doors?

In the 2011 SP3 Rules it said :
Front fenders, doors, engine hood, headlamp covers can be replaced with identical parts of size and shape made of non-stock materials.

Now how about the new rules about fender flares ?
Are Fiberglass fenders not allowed anymore ?
