Post subject:  PCA DQ's

Heads up to Cup drivers, PCA is doing their best to help ensure cars are legal in the SP classes. This past weekend there were several DQ's for 944's being under weight, aluminum flywheels, and wheels to wide.

Much easier to deal with these issues at home rather than at the track, so be sure your car is right before heading to the track.

I was standing there most of the time they were checking the cars. Was a very extensive check. They are going hard at all the spec cars. Spec boxster also got the same treatment.

9.3 Engine/Transmission

(f) Any clutch disk, flywheel and pressure plate of stock diameter may be used.

SP3 Class Rules and SP3 Eligible

M. Any flywheel, clutch disk, and pressure plate of stock diameter may be used.

Yes for SP3/Super Cup and SP2/Prep

No for SP2/Stock
