On the fender flares rule, more questions have been received offline that has us working on better defining what is meant by a flared fender and in line with what has already been said here. The concern is we dont want the rule to allow an inordinately wide GT look car that ia also expensive to construct and install. If in the interim you are contemplating applying fender flares to your car, please contact me direct at cup944@aol.com

In further developments on the flaring rule for sp3, has come to my attention that the PCA rules has no provision for allowing flaring for SP3. An obvious omission that got by us all.
I will be putting together language this weekend to correct that problem and provide to PCA who will then revise the published 2014 rules for SP3.
At the suggestion of PCA, we are considering the rule change for flaring in SP3 that would set a maximum width for all cars, similar to the manner in which is done in the SP2 rules. If we follow PCA's suggestion, we would allow flaring or widening to reach this maximum width.
We would also of course change the 944 Cup rule set to be the same as the new flaring rule in the PCA rules.
