Mid Season Rules Changes for 944 Cup/SP1 Class effective for the balance of the 2017 season: Section 2, Engine: The Focus 9 Technology 944-Spec DME is allowed. The DME relay may be deleted, or replaced by the Focus 9 Technology DME. The Lindsey Racing Billet fuel rails system with stock style 10 regulators (p/n LRK-944-FRAIL-Bosch). Section 4, Suspension/Wheels/Tires: The Lindsey Racing 3 piece front cross member (Part # LRA-951-XMEM) with stock suspension pick up points is allowed Ball joint bolt holes may be drilled out to accept larger (5/16ths inch SAE Grade 8 [do they mean metric 8.8, or SAE 8, which is a lot stronger than stock] or better) hardware. Section 7, Interior: Any defroster and blower system may be added, including windshield applied defroster strips, with ducting from the interior or window openings, as long as its sole effect is to demist the windshield |
