Point of clarification on the 924S model and fender flares for Stock classification. Fender flares added to the 924S model for the Cup class need to be no wider then stock fenders for a 944 model.

The intention of allowing fender flares for the 924S model is to allow that model to be on equal footing as the 944 model in terms of track width and tire size.

The 924/924S can use the GT Racing 924 GT REAR FENDER FLARES, p/n 261?

These are the famous flares that were used by the factory to convert the 924 into the 924 Carrera GT.

Do they extend the fender width beyond that of a 944?

Dave, I do not know. Most all 924S cars use these GT Racing Fender flares.

Joe Boy, That's what I'm talking about....a little bling with the fender flare kit from AutoZone.

Tim the flares on my car are the ones that you are talking about. I measured the difference before I cut the sheet metal and it was one inch wider than stock. So the same width as a 944.

Thanks Chris for the info. We set as stated then.

And if two inches total, thats what we should set the limit for Prepared.
