After much discussion with PCA, the Super Cup rules will be changed for 2014 to allow any Super Cup legal engine to be installed in any legal Cup or Super Cup 3 chassis. The required minimum weight will be determined based on the installed engine.
The logbook for the car must declare the engine swap and include the current engine as installed. The sole responsibility for reporting the swap and engine serial number in the log book is that of the car owner. Scruts should be able to look at the log book and easily see what has been done. If scruts determine the log book does not properly documented the engine swap then its a DQ for all previous sessions for that weekend and the car will be reclassified properly for future sessions.
