It's really hard to get down to that weight, but these cars seem to respond very nicely to the reductions, so I'm for it, even if I can't achieve it.

No, I wouldn't call it a problem, just a bit of work. I'd have to dive and and gut my whole dash at this point, which I'd love to do...

The weight reduction of 50 lbs will effect all models, except for the 968. The 968 model dominated Nationals this year showing that the 6 speed tranny, vario cam, and updated air box gave the car an advantage over the other SC models.

No problem getting down to 2700 lbs. Ran ballast to run 2750 lbs.

Proposed SC weights as provided to PCA.
If a spec tire manufacturer is brought on for 2014, the possiblity exists to make a weight allowance add on for cars not using the spec tire manufacturer.
