Need a new radiator. Seems the consensus is to replace the NA with the turbo. Is it a "drop in" or does anything need to be changed like the frame, hoses, etc..?
Thanks for any info!

The turbo radiator is taller. I installed longer bolts and spacers in the bottom radiator tray to allow it to sit low enough in the frame for the top bolts to clamp it in normally. It'll be obvious what you need to do when you test fit.

For the 85.5 and up cars you can either buy the 951 lower support, ( which is dished to accomodate the taller rad) or install spacers and longer bolts. The fan housing is taller as well, but the N/A housing can be made to work by using zip ties for the lower three mounting holes. For the earlier cars you have to cut the bottom off of the factory core support and extend it 3/4" in order to fit the 951 rad. The other problem that pops up is the lower hose... the 951 version can be a little long and the N/A hose is too short. I install a 1.5" aluminum sleeve and cut the factory hose to let me adjust the height. Greg F
